A designated agent is being registered and is not published here yet. Until it is, a notice filed through the form below is recorded and goes to the club’s officers, who review every one.

A notice needs six things. The form below asks for each one.

• Your signature, physical or typed, as the owner or someone authorized to act for them.
• The work you say was used.
• The material on this platform you say uses it, with enough detail for us to find it.
• How we can reach you: an address, a telephone number where you have one, and an email.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for them.

An officer reviews the notice. If it is upheld, the material stops being published, the member who uploaded it is told why, and the decision is recorded. If it is rejected, that is recorded too, with the reason.

If your material came down and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter notice to the same address. It needs your signature, the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address.

Nothing goes back up immediately. The club waits 14 days from the counter notice before restoring anything, so the person who filed the original notice has the window the law gives them. A restore is always a person’s decision, never automatic.

Two upheld notices against the same member inside 12 months pause uploading on that account until the older one leaves the window. A club officer can explain where an account stands.

Each of those lessons carries its attribution line: the author, the title, the licence and a link to the source. If you are the author of one of them and the line is wrong, tell us through this form and we will correct it.

Filing a notice about material you do not own, or misrepresenting what you own, can carry liability under 17 U.S.C. 512(f). Read the statements before you tick them.
